Our Story

The day after graduating high school, Beau Ragland boarded a flight to Europe with the goal of seeing as much as he could on a tight budget.

Almost two months later, he returned home with memories to last a lifetime. In total, he visited 16 countries and spent less than $3,000–an amount most can make with a summer job.

While at Yale, Beau planned more trips and connected with others who were passionate about travel, including co-founder Robert Jett.

40 countries later, Voyista was created to help others experience the wonders of travel.

With Voyista, you can become a world traveler for cheaper and easier than ever before. We offer end-to-end experiences where all the complex logistics are taken care of.

Our app is like having a digital tour guide in your pocket. All your important travel info can be accessed in seconds.

After spending hundreds of days there, we’ve put together the best trips possible.

Our Team

People from around the world contribute to Voyista’s mission of making travel easy and affordable. Originally based out of New Haven, we’ve expanded our team and partnerships to new regions.

 

Although our leadership team is based out of Connecticut, we have a network of campus ambassadors throughout the country.

 

We also currently have working relationships with dozens of top-rated hostels in Europe, and are currently building trip infrastructure in Southeast Asia.
